Venue
During the 17th and the 18th, the Conference is being held at the Euskalduna Conference Centre and Concert Hall in Bilbao (Spain). Inaugurated on February 19th 1999, this is a very unique building and is one of the flagships of the new Bilbao of the 21st century.
Although The Euskalduna Conference Centre and Concert Hall is in the city centre it is also a few minutes away from the airport and boasts convenient connections to highways, railways and seaports. Nearby are some of the major museums of Bilbao (the Guggenheim Museum, the Museum of Fine Art, the Ría de Bilbao Maritime Museum), as well many hotels, shops and restaurants, all within walking distance.
During the third and last day of the Conference, May 19th, the lectures of the plenary sessions of the morning will be held at the Technology Park of Bizkaia (Labein-Tecnalia) and, after the visit at the research facility “KUBIK by Tecnalia”, the parallel sessions of the afternoon will be held at the Tecnalia´s facilities at Derio.
